FAQ
Q. What's the difference between Half Height & Full Height?
Answer:
Half Height vs Full Height Window Blind Pods
Full Height Blind Pods – These are designed to cover the entire van frame around the window. They’re ideal if your van isn’t ply-lined or carpeted, because they hide all the exposed metalwork and give a neat, finished look.
Half Height Blind Pods – These sit flush with the ply-lining and carpet, so the blind only needs to cover the window area itself. If your van is already ply-lined and carpeted, this option is best, as it integrates seamlessly without adding unnecessary bulk.
In short:
No ply & carpet → Full Height Pod (covers bare frame).
With ply & carpet → Half Height Pod (fits neatly into lining).
Q. For a tailgate would I need Half Height or Full Height?
Answer:
Tailgate blinds only come in half height because the rear tailgate door already has full trim and carpet lining from the factory. There’s no exposed metal frame around the glass like you’d find on the side panels of an unlined van. Since the tailgate is already finished, a full height blind isn’t needed — the half height pod is designed to sit neatly into the existing trim and cover just the window area.
👉 In short: Tailgates are already trimmed, so half height is the correct fit.
Q. I have a rear tailgate wiper motor how does this work?
We're currently working on a model for this, they're very rare when having a van but in some cases you may have a wiper motor that would interfere with the wiper blade motor.
